Project
Contemporary Front Garden
As seen in Homebuilding & Renovating.
As part of a full property renovation, this modest front garden needed to provide secure parking and storage, while enhancing kerb appeal and complementing the newly updated home. With the main living area at the front of the property, the design also needed to offer privacy from the road.
The carefully considered layout makes efficient use of space, incorporating parking for two cars, an EV charger, a large custom-built bin store, and an electric sliding gate. A raised gravel garden next to the front door includes attractive, evergreen planting and a feature Magnolia tree, offering soft screening and seasonal interest. A simple, high-quality material palette of buff Yorkstone, brick, and black-painted timber, was chosen to complement the property's new exterior, creating a unified and cohesive look between the home and garden.
Designed to meet the needs of everyday modern of life, this front garden balances convenience, style and sustainability to create a welcoming entrance and a positive first impression.
